The successful basic education is the foundation to high level studies access and research.

The Government of Rwanda is calling the local authorities and population to put effort in promoting nursery school under the slogan "Munyarwanda, teza imbere uburengazira bw'abana ku burezi bakiri bato, none, witegereza ejo"(Rwandese, develop the rights of children on education while they are still young, thus, don't wait for tomorrow) as stated in the letter from Minaloc of 20th April 2012 to all Mayors. BBF assisted Giheka village to have a well organised nursery school known on the name of Busy Bees Foundation School and following education standards as stated in Rwanda codes and laws.
Giheka Village is an area located in Kagugu Cell, Kinyinya Sector, Gasabo District, Kigali City; it has a population with low income, but aware of education's importance to speed up the well-being of family and development of the country. There are more than 500 families living in the area and they do the best to ensure the education of their children in all level from nursery to university.

Giheka Village doesn't have enough financial means to provide a good quality of education, but they have strategic plans to work with local or external investors in various fields helping to improve the life of population and for this time they welcome interested investors in education.

That nursery school started activities in church, but BBF founders advised the local authorities to find a possibility to host children following nursery school education program in different class rooms. After discussing with parents, the children from 3 to 6 years are organised in 3 different classes: baby class, middle class and top class. There's still a long way to go, but with committment they are reaching some targets.
