BACKGROUND

Busy Bees Foundation School (BBFS) is a Non-Governmental Organization, Private School founded in July 2012. BBFS is located at Giheka Village, Kagugu Cell, Kinyinya Sector, Gasabo District, Kigali City, Rwanda.

The Mission of BBFS is to give Quality Services by improving and promoting good Culture, Education and Knowledge for a better Future of the young generation of Rwanda Population.

    BBFS General Objective

    The overall objective of the project is to increase children’s access to education and improve the quality of education in Giheka Village.

    BBFS Specific Objectives

    The BBFS specific Objectives are:

  • To create learning opportunity for school age children and to offer quality education to them.

  • To build an atmosphere that would lead the child towards a holistic way of life and promote the child spiritual, moral, social, emotional and physical formation.

  • To encourage the young generation to strive for excellence, diligence and a commitment to teamwork and morality.

  • To increase the literary rate.

  • To induce the values of self discipline, a sense of responsibility and passion for knowledge to become good citizens of Rwanda.

  • To build in them a desire to aim higher academically so as to advance their studies and in turn gives back to their society in form of development.

  • To promote girls/women education in order to be part of the development programmes of our country, Rwanda.

  • To increase the project area community’s awareness on the importance of educating children and minimize gender disparity in the stipulation of basic education, by working on affirmative action with the community.

  • To improve the behaviour change as a way of solving social and economic problems in promoting a just society.
