Background

History

Busy Bees Foundation School is a private school located in Giheka village, Kagugu cell, Kinyinya sector, Gasabo district, Kigali city in Rwanda. The school opened its doors in 2013, with only 70 pupils at nursery level. As of today, the school comprises two sections: the nursery section with 3 levels and the primary section with 6 classes.

The sixth Primary 6 promotion has sat for the 2023 Primary Leaving Examination. At present, the total number of pupils is 334 in both sections, as per end of year 2022-2023 data. The school employs highly qualified staff and ensures continuous professional development. We are striving to offer quality education in conformity with the current Rwandan educational curriculum (CBC). Our compelling aspiration is excellence in teaching and learning and we are committed to play an exceptional role in the national efforts to sustain and grow a competitive Knowledge-Based Economy through effective implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum. In addition, we focus on nurturing a holistic child (Head, Heart and Hands) who performs well academically, who loves and cares about other people surrounding and finally who uses his/her hands to work being responsible to his/her acts.
